Festive NOTD ❤️

Hello!

In the Christmas season I love to wear red on my nails, today I am wearing 'Forever Yummy' by Essie. This is a very pretty deep red, I was searching for a colour like this for a while actually as I own more summery, bright reds, and I love this one - it's perfect for this time of year!

What polishes do you like to wear in this festive period? Hope you all have a happy Christmas!

Christmas Gift Guide - For Her ❤️

Hello!

As we are now in December and Christmas is approaching I thought I would share some ideas for gifts. You could get these for others or even add them to your list!

I always think christmas pyjamas are a good idea, these ones are from primark and I love them! They are not too expensive either.

Any of the Naked palettes I think would be an amazing present. I have the Naked 3 and I use it all the time and I love it!

Books would also be a great gift to receive, I love John Green's writing, and if you haven't read any of his books before, I would definitely recommend him!

I got one of these for christmas last year, and it's such a lovely addition to my room, I think someone would really appreciate this gift.

A gift set if any kind would also be good. This Katy Perry perfume set comes with a lotion and shower gel and obviously the perfume. This wasn't too expensive either.

Lush is also a great place for gifts. They do gift sets but I just picked out a few things so it's more personal. Everything smells amazing so they are bound to love it!

Thankyou for reading and hopefully this helped some of you out!

Makeup Revolution and MUA Haul

Hello!

Today I shall be sharing with you some products I ordered online from superdrug.

First I picked up two palettes from MUA, 'Undressed'(bottom) and the 'Ever After' matte palette (top).

They both have great pigmentation for the price, at only £4 each! I am looking forward to trying these out.

Next I got two MUA blushes, in 'Bon Bon' (left) and 'Cupcake' (right).

These again seem very good quality and I can't wait to try them!

I also bought three vivid baked blushes from Makeup Revolution, left to right, 'Bang Bang You're Dead', 'Hard Day' and 'All I Think About Is You'. These are amazing! They remind me so much of the Mac MSF's. I love them!

Then I got a Makeup Revolution vivid baked highlighter in 'Golden Lights'. This, again, is such good quality and has incredible lasting power.

Last but not least I bought one of the Makeup Revolution Lipsticks in 'Passion'. I had not previously owned a red lipstick, but I wanted to try one, and this is very pretty.

Thankyou for reading! Have you tried any MUA or Makeup Revolution products? What did you think?

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadows ♥️

Today I am going to be sharing my thoughts on the Maybelline Colour Tattoo cream eyeshadows.

1. 65-'Pink Gold'

2. 05-'Eternal Gold'

3. 35-'On and on Bronze'

4. 70-'Metallic Pomegrante'

only have four shades out of this range but I am definitely interested in trying more, they are very pigmented, creamy and long lasting. I would reccomend them and especially if you don't have a lot of time to get ready as you can just apply them with your fingers. They can also be used as eyeshadow bases and I also enjoy using them this way too.

Thankyou for reading, what are your thoughts on this range?

My Top Autumn/Winter Nail Polishes ❤️

Today I am going to share some of my favourite autumn/winter nail polishes, I have quite a lot of polishes so this was actually quite hard to pick!

1. Barry M Silk Nail Polish - 'Orchid'

I really like the range of silk polishes barry m have launched, this shade is a purple with pink and red shimmer. I think this polish is unique and I love the formula.

2. Barry M Matte Nail Polish - 'Crush'

At the moment I am really enjoying matte nails, especially at this time of year. This is a pinky raspberry shade with no shimmer as it is matte. Again the formula of these matte polishes are really nice.

3. Topshop Nail Polish - 'With It'

This is a deep blue/navy shade. I have nothing like this in my collection and I also think this is quite a unique shade although it is not that complex.

4. Topshop Nail Polish - 'Hidden Treasure'

This is probably my favourite shade of them all, it's so different to anything I have seen before and I love it! In some lights it looks green, gold or blue. I love the formula of topshop polishes too.

5. Essie Nail Polish - 'Chinchilly'

This polish is quite a popular one from essie and I know a lot of people love it, it's perfect for this time of year, it's not too in your face but still makes your nails look pretty.

Thankyou for reading, I would love to know if you have any of these shades, or what you like to wear on your nails in the autumn/winter!

How I Clean My Makeup Brushes

Today I am going to be sharing with you how I clean my makeup brushes!

The three items I use to wash my brushes are:

Washing up Liquid
(Antibacterial so kills any germs)

Extra Virgin Olive Oil
(Keeps bristles soft and conditions them)

A bowl to mix

1. I start by adding both the washing up liquid and olive oil into the bowl. I then take a brush I want to wash and start mixing.

2. Once the brush is coated in the mixture I gently swirl the brush in the palm of my hand to remove the makeup on the brush, you will be surprised at how much comes out!

3. I then rinse the brush under the cold tap and carefully squeeze until no more soap comes out. Be careful whilst doing this as if you hold the brush up into the flow of the water it will loosen the glue in the brush, bristles will come out faster and the brush just won't last as long. Always hold the brush down away from the flow of water.

Just repeat this with all brushes and then lie them on a towel overnight to dry. In the morning they should be dry and also lovely and clean!

I hope you enjoyed this post and possibly found it helpful!
